New 2025 Toyota 4Runner SUVs use a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing up to 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque for strong, dynamic performance. An optional i-Force Max hybrid powertrain is available as well, offering 326 hp and 465 lb-ft by adding an electric motor to the base engine. 2025 Toyota 4Runner SUVs also offer an 8-speed automatic transmission and selectable part-time or full-time Four-Wheel Drive.
