Is the Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Toyota Mirai the trend of the future, or is it a load of BS?
Cow does burning fossil fuel, like gasoline, compare to using hydrogen?
The way we love cheeseburgers in this country, there is nothing more renewable than cow products. Fact: manure will be producing methane whether we harvest it or not.
What about CO2 byproducts we've been hearing about? In the "Fueled by Bullsh*t" video, you can see that carbon dioxide is a byproduct of stripping hydrogen from methane.
About that.
The big problem with fossil fuels is that they release carbon back into the atmosphere that has been trapped underground for millions of years, thus increasing the total amount of carbon circulating in our atmosphere.
Carbon that came from cow poop? It was in the carbon cycle already, and would have gone back into the atmosphere anyway as that poop decomposed. Thus, the environmental impact is smaller.
